Mission Trip to Brazil

Summer of 2003

Isaiah 55:12

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

 The Lord gave us another awesome trip!  We were able to work right beside the Brazilian Christians who are serving as missionaries.  What a blessing to be challenged by their lives.

We went to a New Tribes Bible Institute.

There is a Bible Institute near Recifé, Brazil that is for the purpose of training Brazilians for working with tribal people of Brazil and other countries.   

We worked on a classroom building.

It involved digging dirt, pouring concrete, placed bricks, and a lot of other hard work.....but the best part was that we were able to work right with the Brazilians. 

The Lord gave us two special team members.

Of course, all of them were special, but it was a privilege to have two Brazilians join our team.  They are on their way to Africa to work as missionaries.

We visited the Fulnio Indian tribe.

Most of these people don't know about our Lord.  Many of the students of the Bible Institute are working with tribes of Brazil and Africa. 

Did we have any other good times?
